Overview
New Humble Community School is a public charter school located South of Calmar, AB. New humble Community School focuses on hands-on, experiential learning through an agricultural lens. We are currently looking to hire a full-time Junior High teacher. Starting would be August 22, 2025.
Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and Charter goals
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Utilize different teaching methods and environments to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Collaborate with other teachers to enhance the overall educational experience
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to support their academic growth
- Attend out of school community functions to understand the community aspect of our school
Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Teaching certification or license
- Experience in elementary education is preferred
- Agricultural or environmental knowledge and experience is preferred
- Charter school knowledge is an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $59,394.00-$101,903.00 per year
