EIPS is recruiting a full-time Junior High Teacher at F.R. Haythorne Junior High.
Teaching assignment includes the instruction of the following courses:
English
Physical Education
Outdoor Education
CTF Computer Science
F.R. Haythorne Junior High serves approximately 580 students in grades 7 to 9, with 33 teaching staff and 7 support staff. The school is located in Sherwood Park, AB. Character education, citizenship and student leadership are integral to the F.R. Haythorne experience. Staff, administration, and the parent community maintain very high academic and behavioural expectations for students attending the school, and the school has established a consistent emphasis on maximizing student achievement.
Commencing August 26, 2025

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Education degree Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate Effective organization and classroom management skills Ability to create a classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and challenged Excellent verbal and written skills Experience or familiarity with analyzing data and using data to inform decisions and/or instruction Strong collaboration and teamwork skills Growth mindset and ability to use feedback to improve practice Relentless drive to set and achieve personal and professional goals
