The successful candidate will work with students grades K- 6 through Math Plus Junior program on improving their French and English reading, writing, and mathematics skills as per needed.
:
Conduct an initial assessment for the students (frequent assessment afterwards)
Tailor lesson plans to address their needs
Establish a good rapport with the students
Work with the student on improving their organizational and time management skills
Work in close cooperation with the director and parents to address any behaviour issues that may affect the child's learning
Qualifications
Working towards a High School diploma in French or FI stream (grads 11-12) Bilingual is a must 1-2 year of experience working with primary-junior students is preferable Local candidates only please (Sarnia-Lambton) Flexibility to work in person or online with students Self motivated and can work in a group Leadership skills
Job Types: Part-time, Casual
Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 - 4 per week
