Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Junior/Apprentice Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with experienced technicians to test, inspect, and maintain fire alarm systems. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in performing service activities on existing fire alarm systems of all manufacturers Reliably and efficiently assist in projects and work well in a true team environment Detailed report writing covering inspection report, associated deficiency solutions, material and labour invoicing, as well as communication within the team Responsible for meeting customer expectations while learning to perform quality inspections Learn specific solutions and recommendations to customers on the most efficient and cost-effective method to return equipment to working order

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

Timely completion of a Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) Registration or equivalent provincial certification Gain and retain the knowledge of provincial building & fire codes for inspection purposes Ability to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and routine details Ability to present information through the spoken or written form, interpret complex information Ability to lift equipment and tools Physically fit and have the ability to be on your feet for 7 hours a day. Possess a valid motor vehicle license and possess a current clean driver abstract
