Junior Financial Analyst The junior financial analyst will work with more senior members of the finance team to analyze and interpret data, identify trends, and make recommendations based on findings. You will be responsible for compiling data for arranging and maintaining the financing facilities with various financial institutions. What will you do?

  • Review and assess mortgage loan applications under an asset secured model.
  • Make business recommendations and take part in preparation of reporting packages to senior management.
  • Have and maintain a continued awareness of local economic indicators and conditions.
  • Daily monitoring of credit availability and interest rates for all loan facilities.
  • Monthly reporting to multiple financial institutions, including compliance certificates, margin reporting and other items as required.
  • Preparation of loan draw requests through coordination with third parties and internal teams, as required, to meet funding conditions as indicated in Commitment Letters.
  • Preparation, on-going tracking, and stakeholder management of Letter of Credit issues.
  • Preparation and analysis of requests for financing proposals in support of new loan requests, which include but are not limited to, commercial property mortgages, new commercial development projects, new housing development projects and land servicing development projects.
  • Create and maintain project development pro-formas for future loan reporting and draw requests.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Completion of a university degree in finance or economics.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, including VBA and/or data modelling.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI is an asset.
