We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Financial Administrator to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in financial administration within a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will assist with various administrative and financial tasks, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and other accounting software
Perform data entry and filing of financial documents
Provide clerical support including typing, proofreading, and organizing documents
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations
Support bookkeeping tasks as needed, including tracking expenses and processing invoices
Utilize Microsoft Office and Google Workspace for document creation and communication
Process bi-weekly payroll
Experience
Previous office experience is preferred, particularly in an administrative or clerical role
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is required.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously .
Knowledge of the local Indigenous community is an asset.
