Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing on-site technical support, ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of various systems and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of computer hardware, mechanical systems, and low voltage applications. The Field Technician will work closely with clients to troubleshoot issues and ensure optimal performance of their systems.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair computer hardware and related equipment at client locations. Utilize hand tools and power tools to perform mechanical repairs and adjustments. Interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot issues effectively. Conduct low voltage wiring installations and repairs as needed. Collaborate with team members to diagnose technical problems and implement solutions. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding technical issues. Document all service activities accurately in compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in maintaining various types of equipment. Proficiency in computer hardware troubleshooting and repair. Familiarity with low voltage systems and wiring practices. Ability to read and interpret schematics for effective problem-solving. Experience in computer networking is a plus. Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work independently in the field while managing time effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 35 per week
