Position Overview

As a Junior Field Engineer - Erection, you will play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of construction projects by assisting senior engineers in the field. This position offers hands-on experience in managing and executing technical tasks on-site, ensuring projects adhere to design specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and timelines. This position is for 6 day's work week.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the installation, inspection, and commissioning of construction works and equipment on-site. Monitor and verify daily work activities of contractors to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications. Conduct site surveys, gather data, and assist in preparing daily technical reports and documentation. Support quality assurance and control processes, including material inspections and testing coordination. Collaborate with project teams to resolve technical issues and implement engineering solutions. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards on-site. Participate in progress meetings and communicate effectively with contractors, clients, and internal teams. Travel to various project locations as required to provide on-site engineering support.

Must-Haves

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field. Basic understanding of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles. Proficiency with engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Familiarity with project management principles and construction safety standards. Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or equivalent is a plus.
