The Role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Event Coordinator to support the planning, promotion, and execution of soccer-related events such as player showcases, trials, and recruitment camps.

This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone eager to learn the soccer industry from the ground up while gaining hands-on experience in event coordination, sales, and athlete outreach.

Key Responsibilities

Event & Office Coordination (19 hours/week):

Assist in organizing soccer events, showcases, and trials Support logistics such as scheduling, venues, equipment, and travel coordination Communicate with players, families, and internal team members Maintain event documentation and post-event reporting
Door-to-Door Sales & Outreach (19 hours/week):

Promote agency events, programs, and opportunities directly to athletes and families Represent Generational Agency professionally in the community Generate leads and support player recruitment efforts Educate prospects on pathways to professional soccer

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Sports Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required) Demonstrated strong organizational and project management skills with exceptional attention to detail Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, able to build trust with athletes, families, and professional partners Proactive problem-solver with the ability to anticipate challenges and act independently Comfortable with public-facing roles, including sales, outreach, and athlete engagement Passion for soccer and commitment to helping athletes achieve their professional goals Adaptable and resilient, thriving under pressure in fast-paced environments Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and event management tools Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional travel
