Description

• Provide development skills to deliver priority data initiatives
• Provide system development and support capacity within CAB to deliver solutions for our clients
• Develop technical skills and knowledge to support government priorities of our Ministry of Finance clients
• Maintain the day to day operations of the BIDA environment which includes the monthly refresh of data, ensuring software and processes are up-to-date and supporting change and incidents raised.

Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Technical Knowledge and Skills:

• You have application development experience with the IBM suite of products, including DataStage, Cognos and DB2, as well as knowledge in more than one field (e.g. systems analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, installation, operational techniques) to execute diverse application development activities and make technical recommendations.
• You have an ability to gain understanding of other technologies when needed.
• You have an understanding of data integration, database design, and data modelling.
• You have the ability to understand clients\' I&IT needs and business environment to define the technical scope of work and provide on-going guidance to working groups.

Reasoning, Problem-Solving, Planning, Analyzing and Assessing Skills:

• You can ensure that ongoing application development, technical work, operations and services are planned, scheduled, executed, monitored and evaluated.

Communication and Customer Service Skills:

• You can write, explain and present technical reports and recommendations.
