Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented

Junior Equipment Inspector

to join our team. This entry-level role supports auction and yard operations by assisting with equipment intake, documentation, photography, descriptions, customer service, and equipment handling. The

Junior Equipment Inspector

will help ensure incoming assets are properly documented, safely unloaded, and prepared for sale, while contributing to a clean and professional yard environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with completing and uploading contracts for equipment and consignment intake. Help safely unload customer equipment using Premier's equipment (with training). Capture and organize Level 1 equipment photos; upload and manage them within internal systems. Write, upload, and export Level 1 equipment descriptions, ensuring accuracy and clarity, under supervision. Provide on-site customer service during viewing periods; assist customers with questions. Support equipment load-outs by operating Premier equipment (with training). Maintain yard cleanliness and organization on a daily basis.
Qualifications:

Some experience or interest in equipment, construction, agriculture, or industrial work preferred. Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn inspection, photography, and description standards. Comfortable working around heavy equipment and tools (training provided). Good customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced yard environment under supervision. Basic computer skills for uploading and managing files.
Compensation & Benefits

Competitive salary: $50,000 - $60,000/year Phone allowance Strathmore Yard is closed (23) business days during the year which are not required to be worked, not inclusive of Stat Holidays or Weekends. Additional (5) days off to be taken at your discretion. 0% selling commission through Premier Consignment Yards Occasional off-site travel may be required (LOA paid and expenses covered) [Optional: Include health, dental, or other benefits if applicable]
