We are looking for a Junior Environmental Technician/Technologist who is eager to learn, take on new opportunities, and grow within our team. This role involves working on a variety of environmental projects, including contaminated site investigations, environmental assessments, hazardous material assessments, air monitoring, compliance monitoring, and more.

Conduct field components of Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), including soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, and soil vapor sampling.
Perform air monitoring and environmental assessments for workplace hazards such as asbestos, lead, silica, and other contaminants.
Carry out environmental monitoring on construction and demolition projects.
Work alongside, oversee, and direct subcontractors, including heavy equipment operators, drilling contractors, and remediation specialists.
Collect samples of dust, gases, vapors, hazardous materials, and other potentially toxic substances for laboratory analysis.
Conduct air quality monitoring and hazardous material surveys.
Maintain and calibrate industrial hygiene equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
Prepare detailed field notes, data analysis, and evaluations.
Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring high-quality service and effective communication.
Desktop & Reporting Activities
Compile and analyze field data, including borehole logs, test pit logs, and analytical data tables.
Assist in report writing, including technical reports, memos, letters, and proposals.
Maintain a strong commitment to health & safety, following applicable procedures and regulations.
