As a

Junior Electrical Engineer

with us your responsibilities will include aiding in electrical design systems, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices. This role provides a platform for you to apply your skills, learn, and grow within a collaborative team focused on achieving excellence in engineering solutions.

Your Role



Project Design:



- Preparing preliminary and detail working design drawings for power, distribution, lighting, life safety, communication and security systems using Revit MEP

- Coordinate with other design disciplines.

- Preparation of contract documents and specifications.

- Working alongside contract administration team members to conduct site visits and oversee contract administration.

- Providing on-site support for inspections, equipment start-up, and commissioning.

Learning & Development:



- Actively participating in professional associations and committees

- Staying current with industry trends and advancements by attending educational workshops and fostering personal networks.

Qualifications: Your Path to Success:



- Possession of a degree in electrical engineering.

- Registered or eligibility to register as an Engineer-in-Training in Manitoba.

- Demonstrated ability to work within a team in a collaborative environment.

- Ability to apply critical thinking and reasoning to decision making process;

- Ability to effectively communicate and work as part of a team is essential;

- An understanding of Canadian commercial construction methods and design processes;

- Desire to develop skills and expand career;

The following qualifications and skills will be considered an asset



- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Experience with Revit;

- Experience with AutoCAD;

- Demonstrated experience with office software such as MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.)

- Experience working in design for commercial or industrial settings, preferably in a consulting environment.

- An understanding of Canadian commercial construction methods.

- Field Experience in the construction industry
