About the role

• Support the Combat Management System 330 (CMS 330) Operating Environment
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for relevant system design areas
• Support software development teams with build and support tools
• Design next generation of system architecture for Government of Canada (CANADA)
• Support development team with build related issues
• Develop new systems for development operations and security
• Reports to the program team lead
• Working in an Agile team environment.

What you bring to the role

• Bachelor's degree or diploma from an accredited university or college in a related discipline or real world experience
• Have an aptitude for solving Information Technology (IT) problems
• Willing and able to support schedule including evenings and weekends, as required
• Willing to learn new skills as required by position
• Have an aptitude for solving challenging problems in a team environment
• Eligible for NATO Secret clearance in a timely manner.
• Have a security-first mindset
• Have a high degree of initiative and autonomy
• Have an understanding of Linux based Operating System (OS) configuration
• Have an understanding of Windows System administration and automated deployment
• Eligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization(NATO) Secret security clearance and Canadian Controlled Goods (CG).

• System Design and Architecture Experience
• Familiarity with CANADA's certification and accreditation process for Classified systems
• Familiarity with Build Tools (Git, Svn, Jenkins, Groovy, Ansible, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as code methodology and development
• Experience with Agile Scrum methodology is considered an asset
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
• Familiarity with BASH
• Familiarity with Java and C++
• Familiarity with Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS)
• Active NATO Secret security clearance is considered an asset.
