Contract Length:
12 months Hours: 37.5/weekly Location: Vancouver, BC (1/day week @ Dunsmuir office)
Our client is a leading energy utility that generates, purchases, distributes and sells electricity. They are currently looking for a Junior Cybersecurity Program Coordinator for their Vancouver location.
Overview:
Coordination and follow-ups in support of Policy Development and Review and Cybersecurity Awareness Program
Job Responsibilities:

  • Follow up with stakeholders and coordinate in the process for policy development and review
  • Track and monitor documentation and stakeholder activities
  • Organize meetings and prepare meeting notes
  • Follow up on Cybersecurity Awareness Program activities
  • Other tasks assigned by Cybersecurity Governance and Performance team and other cybersecurity programs
  • Some previous exposure to Cybersecurity projects is not mandatory but a "nice to have". Other coordination related tasks as needed

Education and Skills
  • College level program completion in Technology, Business, Communication or related discipline
  • Good working knowledge of project management principles
  • Intermediate skills in using computer applications such as SharePoint and MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel
  • Good communication skills for professional environment, written and spoken

Must haves:
  • A minimum three (3) years of directly related work experience in a complex IT project environment or equivalent.
  • Basic IT computer related skills
  • Intermediate skills in using computer applications such as SharePoint and MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, One note)

Nice to have:
  • Cybersecurity experience an asset
  • College level program completion in Technology, Business, Communication or related discipline an asset
