Position Summary:
Evershine Management Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable
Junior Corporate Accountant
to support our financial operations. This full-time role is responsible for processing payroll, managing bookkeeping, assisting with GST filings, and maintaining accurate financial records across multiple entities. The successful candidate will work with tools like QuickBooks and Yardi Breeze, ensure compliance with CRA and BC Employment Standards, and collaborate with internal teams and external accountants. Key Responsibilities:
Process employee payroll, including deductions and government remittances.
Record financial transactions in QuickBooks with accurate coding.
Manage accounts payable and receivable.
Perform monthly bank reconciliations and maintain organized financial records.
Support intercompany allocations and adjustments.
Prepare data for quarterly GST filings.
Assist with internal reports and work with external accountants for accurate submissions.
Manage rent collection, tenant ledgers, and monthly rent rolls.
Process payments and invoices; ensure data accuracy in Yardi Breeze.
Reconcile system records with bank statements.
Track leasing commissions and management fees.
Work with brokers and accountants to ensure proper allocation and reconciliation.
Provide documents for audits and external accounting needs.
Assist with financial analysis, year-end preparation, and other accounting tasks.
Prepare ROEs and year-end T4/T4A slips in compliance with CRA and BC Employment Standards.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Mandarin language proficiency required (spoken and written)
Diploma / bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
1-3 years
of accounting, payroll, or bookkeeping experience.
Proficiency in
Yardi Breeze
,
QuickBooks
and
Microsoft Excel
is required.
Hands-on experience with
payroll processing
, and solid knowledge of
CRA payroll requirements and BC Employment Standards.
Experience preparing and filing
T4/T4A
slips and payroll remittances.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and reconciliations.
Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently.
PCP designation
or
actively
working towards PCP is an asset
.
Experience in property management accounting is a plus but not mandatory.
