Le Service de la culture, des sports, des loisirs et du d\xc3\xa9veloppement communautaire a pour mission d\'offrir des services, des programmes et des installations de qualit\xc3\xa9 qui favorisent la participation et l\'int\xc3\xa9gration maximale de tous les citoyennes et citoyens de Pointe-Claire. Description : Relevant de l\'Entra\xc3\xaeneur chef adjoint, le ou la titulaire sera responsable de donner des cours de plongeon \xc3\xa0 nos clients. Il ou elle assurera leur d\xc3\xa9veloppement afin de continuer la tradition d\'excellence et d\'enthousiasme que d\xc3\xa9montre notre club depuis des d\xc3\xa9cennies. Responsabilit\xc3\xa9s g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9rales et objectifs : Les principales responsabilit\xc3\xa9s du titulaire sont les suivantes :

• Enseigner les bonnes techniques de plongeon \xc3\xa0 nos clients;
• \xc3\x89tablir des plans d\'entra\xc3\xaenement pour la session;
• \xc3\x8atre responsable de la s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9 de nos clients;
• Compl\xc3\xa9ter des \xc3\xa9valuations selon le programme de la Voie Olympique;
• Travailler en collaboration avec le chef entra\xc3\xaeneur adjoint;
• \xc3\x8atre pr\xc3\xa9sent aux r\xc3\xa9unions d\'\xc3\xa9quipe et diverses formations offertes;
• Communiquer avec les parents au besoin;
• Toute autre t\xc3\xa2che connexe. Exigences du poste : \xe2\x80\xa2 Dipl\xc3\xb4me d\'\xc3\xa9tudes secondaires en cours ;
• Niveau 1 du PNCE (ou \xc3\xa0 faire au cours de la 1\xc3\xa8re ann\xc3\xa9e de la date d\'embauche);
• 1 an d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience comme entra\xc3\xaeneur dans une \xc3\xa9quipe comp\xc3\xa9titive d\'\xc3\xa9t\xc3\xa9 ou exp\xc3\xa9rience \xc3\xa9quivalent;
• Titulaire d\'une certification \xc3\xa0 jour de Sauveteur national ou s\'engager \xc3\xa0 l\'obtenir dans les 6 mois suivants l\'embauche;
• Communication interpersonnelle;
• Travailler en \xc3\xa9quipe;
• Habilet\xc3\xa9s organisationnelles;
• Bilingue (anglais et fran\xc3\xa7ais). Department mission
The mission of the Culture, Sports, Leisure and Community Development Department is to offer high-quality services, programs and facilities that promote participation and maximum integration of all Pointe-Claire citizens. The Department relies on a qualified and professional staff dedicated to the quality of life of Pointe-Claire citizens. Description: Reporting to the Assistant Head Coach, the incumbent will be responsible for teaching diving lessons to our clients, ensuring their development and continuing the tradition of excellence and enthusiasm that has characterized our Diving Club for decades. General responsibilities and goals: The jobholder\'s main responsibilities are as follows:

• Teach proper diving techniques to our clients;
• Set up teaching plans for the session;
• Be responsible for the safety and security of our clients;
• Complete student assessments according to the Olympic Way program;
• Work in collaboration with the Assistant Head Coach;
• Attend meetings and trainings;
• Communicate with parents when necessary;

• Level 1 NCCP (or to be completed within the first year of hiring date);
• 1 year experience as coach in a competitive summer diving team or equivalent experience;
• National Lifeguard Certificate (or to be obtained in the first six months of hiring date);
• Interpersonal communication skills;
• Ability to work in a team setting;
• Organizational skills;
• Bilingual (English and French).
