Chemtec is a company that operates in the field of polymer coatings manufacturing and is experiencing strong growth. Chemtec was founded in 2013 and currently operates a 45,000 sq. ft. facility in Canada. The products manufactured by Chemtec are primarily intended for export.

Duties

Conduct chemical analyses and tests to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. Assist in the formulation and packaging of chemical products in accordance with established procedures. Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to optimize processes and implement lean manufacturing techniques. Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse environment, including operating forklifts as needed. Document all findings accurately and maintain detailed records of experiments and processes. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a manufacturing or laboratory setting is preferred. Familiarity with CGMP regulations and lean manufacturing principles is highly desirable. Experience in packaging processes, materials handling, machining, or warehouse operations is a plus. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification may be required. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in testing procedures. Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.
