Position Overview:
We're looking for a
Junior Carpenter
who is eager to learn, grow, and develop into a
Lead Carpenter
. The ideal candidate has at least
1 year of carpentry experience
, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to take direction while continuously improving their skills. We work throughout the winter so must be willing to work in our typical Winnipeg winter elements.
Responsibilities:
Assist with building residential decks, sunrooms, pergolas, and other outdoor structures
Support lead carpenters with framing, cutting, measuring, and installation tasks
Safely operate hand and power tools
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow safety guidelines and company standards
Requirements:
Minimum
1 year of carpentry or construction experience
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
Familiar with common carpentry tools and materials
Reliable transportation to job sites around Winnipeg
Positive attitude, motivated to learn, and a team player
