Job Description

We are a mid-sized commercial millwork manufacturer and have been serving our clients for 35 years. Located in Arnprior, ON, we are just hour West of Kanata.

To support our continued growth, we are seeking to add a full time Junior Cabinetmaker to our team.

Role and responsibility will include

Assisting co-workers with a variety of jobs including sanding, sealing, assembling cabinets, glue up, etc. General cleaning and organizing materials Applying and filing/sanding laminates and veneers. Reading and interpreting drawings to produce a quality product in an appropriate time frame. Using a variety of hand & power tools as needed, leading to training on large shop machines Lifting and moving material and finished millwork products Following shop safety standards at all times
The ideal candidate will

Have a positive attitude and be willing to learn and improve their skills Possess a strong work ethic Interact effectively with co-workers Respond well to feedback and be able to work with minimal supervision Have previous experience in woodworking, carpentry, cabinetmaking. Have experience with basic stationary power tools. (Table saws/planers/jointers) Have experience with basic hand power tools. (routers/drills/biscuit joiner)
