THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Junior Buyer

to join our procurement team.

The ideal candidate will support sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management activities to ensure the timely acquisition of materials and services essential for manufacturing operations.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in supply chain management within a dynamic manufacturing environment, utilizing ERP systems and procurement best practices.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES:

Assist in sourcing suppliers and evaluating vendor performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability. Support the procurement process by issuing purchase orders through ERP systems such as SAP and MRP modules. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine material requirements and delivery schedules. Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to prevent shortages or overstock situations. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, vendor communications, and purchase documentation. Participate in supplier evaluations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing strategies. Assist in managing supplier relationships to foster long-term partnerships aligned with company goals.

SKILLS:

Proficiency in SAP, ERP systems, and MRP modules for procurement activities. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations. Experience with vendor management, sourcing, and negotiation techniques. Knowledge of pricing strategies, procurement policies, and purchasing procedures. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments. Analytical mindset with attention to detail for managing complex data related to procurement and inventory. Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with supply chain management principles and best practices within manufacturing settings.
