: We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Biomedical Engineer to join our team for an internship opportunity. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing Cardiac Telemetry signal processing algorithms for our advanced medical devices. The initial focus will be on arrhythmia detection and classification, but the role will involve general signal processing tasks as well.
Key Responsibilities:Develop Signal Processing Algorithms: Design, implement, and optimize algorithms for processing cardiac telemetry signals, with an initial focus on arrhythmia detection and classification.
Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret biomedical data to identify patterns and improve algorithm performance.
Testing and Validation: Perform testing and validation of developed algorithms to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with medical standards.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and clinical experts, to integrate algorithms into medical devices.
Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of algorithm design, implementation, and testing processes.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in signal processing and biomedical engineering to continuously improve and innovate our algorithms.
Educational Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Biomedical engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering
Technical Skills:Familiarity with C/C++ and Python
Strong understanding of digital signal processing techniques and concepts.
Experience with machine learning algorithms and tools is a plus.
Other Skills:Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret complex biomedical data.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to have):Proficiency with python and/or matlab based signal processing and AI/ML tools is an asset.
Experience with noise removal and signal extraction is highly desirable.
