The Junior Beauty Advisor is responsible for all aspects of the customer service activities in compliance with company standards while maintaining Clore's brand image. The main goal of Junior Beauty Advisors is to maintain a functional yet welcoming store environment, through exceptional courteous customer service and store appearance. A Junior Beauty Advisor must work to attain a general understanding of the products carried at Clore as well as their basic features in order to promote customer loyalty and satisfaction. Responsibilities
Store OperationsProvide exceptional customer service with a professional image and service on a day-to-day basis
Optimize store sales and increase profitability by monitoring and communicating with inventory specialists for low stock or popular items
Monitor sales floor for loss prevention issues and report to the Store Manager
Take responsibilities and be dependable with your working schedules to ensure an optimal workflow and efficiencies
Be proactive in maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Tour the sales floors regularly and become familiar with department sections, general products and popular brands carried in store location
Thoroughly understand store policies and procedures
Other duties may be assigned as necessary
Staff Relations
Seek council, guidance, and follow management practices of your Supervisor and Senior Beauty Advisors
Work closely with co-workers to support a good team environment
Customer Service
Deliver and maintain the Clore's standard of courteous customer service and professionalism
Become familiar with specific customer needs in order to learn to answer questions professionally, and also be able to offer practical advice
Keep up to date and promote special promotions, displays and events, such as seasonal sales and in store promotions
Product Knowledge
Educating self on general store products, major store brands and current beauty trends
Give feedback to staff and customers of personal experiences of product usage
Submit product reviews as requested in a timely manner

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Working in a retail environment with high levels of traffic (customers and merchandise)
Standing and walking for the majority of shift
Talking and listening to customers and fellow employees
Minimal amounts of carrying and lifting (boxes up to 20lbs)
Climbing ladders occasionally to reach products on high shelves
Irregular working hours, especially during busy seasons
Qualifications
Hairstyling, esthetics and cosmetology knowledge is an asset
Minimum Education Level: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED/OSSD) is an asset
* One year of customer service experience in a retail environment is an asset, preferably health and beauty.
