We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bakery Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in our bakery operations, ensuring that our products are prepared, packaged, and presented to the highest standards. Duties

As a Bakery Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the preparation of baked goods according to established recipes and standards, including cakes, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, etc. Ensuring all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations. Preparing baked products for display and sale, ensuring they are visually appealing. Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area to promote a safe working environment. Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient bakery operations. Monitoring inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as needed.

Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:

Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not required. Basic knowledge of kitchen operations and food preparation techniques. Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is a plus. Ability to communicate effectively with team members. A willingness to learn new baking techniques and improve skills in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends as needed.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
