Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in the design and development of architectural projects, collaborating closely with senior architects and project managers. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in architectural design software and a passion for innovative design solutions.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of architectural designs, drawings, and specifications using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Rhinoceros 3D. Collaborate with senior architects to develop project concepts and presentations. Draft detailed construction documents and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. Participate in project meetings and contribute to business development efforts by preparing proposals and presentations. Utilize Adobe Creative Suite to create visually compelling presentations and marketing materials. Conduct site visits to assess project progress and gather information for design modifications. Support the negotiation process with clients, contractors, and stakeholders as needed. Utilize Bluebeam for document management and collaboration during the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field. Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, 3ds Max, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong drafting skills with attention to detail in technical documentation. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines. Knowledge of business development practices is a plus but not required. A portfolio showcasing relevant projects is highly desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.22-$31.99 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
