Cabin Resource Management Ltd. has built a foundation of experience and dedication to quality and innovative solutions in forestry, heritage, wildfire planning and resource analysis. We are currently looking to add a

Junior Archaeologist Co-Op Student

to our Heritage team for 2026.




Responsibilities:





As a

Junior Archaeologist

you will be responsible for the following:



Practice archaeological excavation techniques, using digital archaeological site-recording practices, and regulatory archaeological practices This is a field based role working on archaeological excavations, field surveys, impact statements, and community orientated projects Work alongside First Nations' archaeologists, technicians and Knowledge Keepers throughout the Southern Interior



Qualifications and Experience:





Currently enrolled in Anthropology, First Nations & Indigenous Studies, Geography, or Earth Sciences Willingness to work in close collaboration with First Nations Interest in working in "anti-colonial" business perspectives Experience working outdoors or hobbies related to outdoor activities Familiarity with syilx, Secwepemc, Sinixt, and/or Nlaka'pamux cultural heritage is considered an asset
