Our Product and Development teams are growing, and we're looking for a Junior App Developer who is passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences and building impactful applications. This role blends the technical depth of software development with the creative flexibility of no-code platforms, offering a unique opportunity for growth and skill development.

The Role



As a

Junior App Developer

, you will work closely with

Product Managers

,

Designers

, and

Senior Developers

to build and maintain applications using

Method's no-code platform

as well as traditional development tools.

Key Responsibilities:



- Build, iterate, and maintain SaaS applications using

Method's no-code development platform

.
- Translate business requirements into

technical designs

,

data models

, and actionable tasks.
- Develop and integrate

front-end user interfaces

using

HTML

,

CSS

, and

JavaScript

.
- Collaborate in

grooming sessions

,

user research

, and

solutioning discussions

.
- Provide feedback on product development improvements and contribute to feature enhancement ideas.
- Contribute to both

no-code development

and

traditional code-based development

workflows.
- Follow

Agile methodologies

such as

Scrum

or

Kanban

to ensure timely and effective delivery of features.
- Document technical designs, processes, and updates thoroughly.
- Be a proactive team player with a commitment to the team's success.
- Participate in

code reviews

and ensure code quality standards are met.

Technical Expertise:



- A solid understanding of

Preferred Experience:

Co-op level or higher

working experience in

production-level application development

- Post-secondary education in

Computer Science

Hybrid Policy



At Method we are working on a hybrid schedule. All teams work 2-3 times each week from our office in downtown Toronto.

In your first 30 days, you will:



- Onboard and acclimate with the Product and Development team.
- Complete Method's Bootcamp.
- Understand Method's values and how our teams collaborate to drive results.
- Learn and become an expert of our internal communication tools, norms, and practices.
- Become acquainted with our No-code platform via help docs and videos.

In your first 60 days, you will:



- Start working closely with your development, design and product team.
- Contribute to the product team's culture, processes, and best practices.
- Work on features and functionality that will be used by our users.

In your first 90 days, you will:



- Be fully embedded into and contribute to the outcomes with your team.
- Ship features that deliver high business impact.
- Work closely with your manager to explore goals for the rest of the year.
- Participate in your first quarterly performance review.

Compensation: $50,000 - 70,000 annually
