Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will support various projects by leveraging data visualization tools, programming languages, and database management systems to provide actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Duties

Assist in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets using tools such as SQL, R, Python, and Oracle. Develop and maintain dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, and Visio to visualize key metrics for stakeholders. Support project management activities within Agile frameworks, ensuring timely delivery of analytics solutions aligned with SDLC best practices. Contribute to database design and management efforts for Microsoft SQL Server and other relational databases. Automate repetitive tasks and enhance data processing workflows using VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and other scripting languages. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Conduct business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements and data-driven strategies. Document processes and workflows clearly to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives. Support of our digital marketing efforts (eg. LinkedIn, website content maintenance) Administrative duties to assist with senior management project management. (eg. calendars, deadline management of the team)

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. Masters degree is a bonus. Proficiency in SQL, including experience with Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases. Strong data analysis skills with experience in R, Python, or similar programming languages. Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI. Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and Agile project management practices. Experience with business analysis techniques and database design principles. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with excellent communication skills. Basic understanding of analysis tools like Visio and VBA is preferred. Knowledge of Unix shell scripting (Bash) is a plus. Pay: $48,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
