The Opportunity
We're hiring a highly organised, detail-oriented
Junior Analyst & Executive Assistant
to support the
CEO
, manage office operations, coordinate projects, and help tell our story through LinkedIn articles and client-ready reports. You'll combine executive support and office management with light research/analysis and professional document production.

. Given the nature of our work and the CEO's public profile, this is a
high-visibility, high-trust role
that is important to the organisation. Professionalism, discretion, and sound judgement are essential.
What You'll Do
Executive & Administrative Support
Manage the CEO's calendar, meetings, travel, and correspondence.
Prepare agendas, record meeting notes, track action items, and follow up to completion.
Draft, proofread, and format client materials (Word, PowerPoint) to a professional standard.
Office Management
Own day-to-day office operations: supplies, vendors, basic bookkeeping support (receipts, invoices), and onboarding logistics.
Maintain tidy file structures and version control for working documents.
Uphold confidentiality and data security standards.
Project Coordination
Build and maintain simple project plans, timelines, and status trackers.
Coordinate inputs across team members; ensure deliverables meet quality and branding standards.
Support proposal preparation (RFP compliance checks, bios, formatting).
Content & Communications
Draft and publish concise, engaging
LinkedIn
articles/posts aligned with our research and policy work.
Edit and assemble report sections; check references, figures, and tables for accuracy and clarity.
Ensure tone, approvals, and accessibility standards are met before publishing.
Research & Analysis (Junior Analyst scope)
Conduct desk research on economics/public policy topics and summarise findings.
Clean and organise datasets; produce descriptive tables/charts in
Excel
.
Contribute to slide decks and written reports with careful sourcing and QA.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree
(economics, public policy, business, communications, or related field).
Demonstrated
interest in economics/public policy
.
Fluent English
(excellent writing and editing);
French
is a strong asset.
1-3 years' relevant experience (EA/office admin, project coordination, research, or communications).
Strong, hands-on proficiency with
Microsoft Outlook, LinkedIn, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
.
Meticulous attention to detail, strong organisation, and the ability to prioritise in a deadline-driven environment.
Professional, client-facing communication style; discretion with sensitive information.
On-site availability
in Toronto; legal right to work in Canada.

Pay: $48,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
