Our downtown client working in the Stakeholder Information Management sector is looking for a Junior Analyst to provide analytical support, focused on accuracy, attention to detail, and a solid work ethic.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required to be effective and thrive in this role. The ideal candidate will be tech savvy with the aptitude to use various software applications, as well as a natural trouble shooter with the confidence to ask questions if needed.

The new addition should be excited to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, receiving training and workstations in office day one, but working remotely, thereafter.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The key job functions are:

Client Support:

  • Accurately summarizes engagement summaries, and tracks concerns and commitments as per regulatory and client requirements using industry specific software
  • Monitors stakeholder inquiries through voicemail and email and directs inquiries to the appropriate team member
  • Reviews engagement records for accuracy and identifies gaps or missing information
  • Supports client mail outs through tracking progress through Canada Post, managing returned mail and populating returned to sender lists
  • Updates database information as per feedback from quality assurance audits, and feedback and responses from clients
  • Supports in the populating of engagement and stakeholder information into regulatory reports
  • Updates internal protocol and process documents as per evolving regulatory and client requirements
  • Performs high-level land administrative tasks such as searching for and downloading land titles, populating and updating line lists, and auditing and reviewing line lists for accuracy
  • Updating line lists with updated stakeholder, landowner, and land title information
  • Attends weekly project update meetings with Tracking Lead and Tracking Analysts to ensure alignment on requirements and the timely delivery of products and services
Department Support:
  • Collaborates with Stakeholder Engagement, Communication, and Indigenous Engagement departments on regulatory requirements
  • Tracks designated tasks and deliverables, prioritizes workloads, and communicates delivery timelines and statuses to team members
  • Supports Intelligence Developers, Tracking Specialists and Tracking Leads in their responsibilities, as needed
  • Tracks lessons learned throughout a project, and participates in and contributes content for lessons learned meetings upon project completion
Personal Management:
  • Provides Manager with intended vacation plans sufficiently in advance to ensure filling of responsibilities is available for Department and Client support
  • Ensures the corporate values, standards of business conduct, and human resource philosophy is understood, embraced, and personally demonstrates them in daily interactions and relationships.
  • Demonstrates and practices the avoidance of silo thinking and behaviours between departments and offices - reinforces the priority of overall organizational success
  • Participates as part of the employee team and seeks to build collaborative relationships with all other members of the employee team to facilitate orderly operation of the overall business
Education:
  • Post-secondary education is required
Experience:
  • Previous experience in an analyst role is a strong asset
  • Previous experience in technical writing is required
Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professionalism and discretion
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent proofreading and technical writing abilities
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Flexible and adaptable in nature, able to shift priorities at any given time
Base Salary: $19 \xe2\x80\x93 21 per hour
  • Salary is based on experience
Work Hours:
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:00am - 5:00pm
Remote Work:
  • This position is fully remote

  • This opportunity does not include relocation. It will be the responsibility of the candidate should relocation be required.
