POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient individual to support the Finance team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
\xc2\xb7 Coding and entering invoices into the Accounts Payable system
\xc2\xb7 Processing vendor invoices and generating cheque runs
\xc2\xb7 Update and maintain vendor information in the system
\xc2\xb7 Manage communication related to payment method conversion
\xc2\xb7 Preparation of monthly reconciliations for a variety of general ledger accounts, including journal entries for accruals and allocations
\xc2\xb7 Preparing spreadsheets to allocate costs to various accounts and cost centers
\xc2\xb7 Communicating with internal and external customers re invoice/payment inquiries
\xc2\xb7 Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
\xc2\xb7 Working on a Degree in accounting
\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures in a computerized accounting environment
\xc2\xb7 A strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills are required
\xc2\xb7 Detail oriented
\xc2\xb7 Intermediate Excel skills are required
\xc2\xb7 Ability to work well with others in a team environment
\xc2\xb7 Excellent organizational skills with the ability to deal with multiple tasks and meet deadlines
\xc2\xb7 Strong data entry skills
\xc2\xb7 2nd or 3rd year preferred
