Company Description

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Junior Accounting Analyst will be the subject matter expert that supports the customer creation process and corporate programs, provides staff training and support, participates in projects and process enhancements and supports month end closing.

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE MANAGEMENT Support the customer creation process. Execute trade reference checks. Establish credit limits. Maintain customer data management. CORPORATE PROGRAMS MANAGEMENT Concur management \xe2\x80\x93 act as reviewer and processor, reconcile concur and bank postings, provide T&E reporting. Amex corporate card management - monitor large unusual spends, support employee spends reconciliations. Uber management - employee setup and deactivation, master data management. Travel management \xe2\x80\x93 act as co-pilot travel program administrator, monthly reporting, and flight credit management. TRAINING AND SUPPORT Lead the new employee on-boarding training. Conduct employee 90-day check in\xe2\x80\x99s. Execute employee off-boardings procedures. Support with quarterly presentations and on-going training. PROJECTS AND PROCESS ENHANCEMENTS Support system upgrades. Implement automated processes and determine efficiencies. Adapt and implement best practices. SAP hot pack testing. ACCOUNTING Support Q3 and Q4 E&Y audit. Aid in month end and year end closing. Participate in weekly departmental and monthly finance meetings.

Qualifications

1+ years of relevant accounting experience or internship experience. Excellent attention to detail. Time management skills. Passionate, Enthusiastic and strong presentation skills. SAP, Concur and/or other ERP experience an asset. Knowledge of various commodity tax laws within Canada.
