Junior Accountant
Job Description
:Our downtown real estate client is looking for Junior Project Accountant for their growing firm. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance and Controller, both designated CPA, the Junior Project Accountant will be responsible for accounts payable, accounts receivable, job costing, credit card and bank reconciliations, journal entries, schedules, and supporting the Controller with the month end close and financial reporting package.Requirements:The Junior Project Accountant will have 1-3 years of hands-on accounting experience and have completed some accounting education (Accounting Diploma or BBA in Accounting equivalent). This role is suitable for someone enrolled in the CPA program or someone considering enrollment down the road. Experience in the real estate/property development industry would be considered an asset. We are looking for someone who wants a career in accounting in the property management/development industry.
