Robert Half has an immediate need for an entry-level Accountant for a role in the Real Estate Property/Facilities Mgt industry. In this position, your responsibilities will include data entry, financial statement review, and Excel spreadsheet creation and manipulation. What you get to do every day

- Researching and correcting account discrepancies

- Helping with audit fieldwork for both operational and financial audits

- Reconcile and balance general ledger accounts

- Carrying out other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned

- Helping with full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

- Prepare monthly journal entries

- Enter data

Requirements

- Experience with high volume data entry

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent written/verbal communication and organizational skills

- Suggested education is an AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business

- Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects

- Required: 1 year of accounting experience

- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred

- Accounts Payable (AP) experience desired

- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Adeptness in Yardi Property Management

- Experience with Sage 300

- Foundational knowledge in financial statement preparation

- Accounts Receivable (AR) experience

- Deep understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR)
