Salary: $50,000 -$58,000 plus excellent benefits and RSP planOur client is a one of the oldest corporately-owned real estate groups in the country. With offices in Quebec, Ontario and British Columbia, the Junior Accountant position will be located out of the Corporate Head Office in Toronto.As a member of the corporate finance and accounting team, the Junior Accountant will report into the Controller and responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Assist with the execution of full cycle (monthly; quarterly; annually) accounting processes including account reconciliations, analysis, and other supporting schedules
- Day to day bookkeeping (invoice processing, journal entries, payment processing
- Assist in the preparation and completion of bank account reconciliations
- Review and action agents accounts receivable
- Assist with month end and year end close procedures
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, finance or equivalent, CPA designation or near completion
- Minimum 3 years in a full cycle accounting role and preferable in a head office environment
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Lone Wolf is preferred but not mandatory
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
