Job Description

This open Bookkeeper position through Robert Half is a great opportunity for someone looking to further their career while working closely on a team. If you\'re proficient with A/P, A/R, General ledger, and financial reporting, then this Bookkeeper role may be a great fit for you. This long-term contract / temporary to hire position is a great opportunity for a Bookkeeper who wants to work in the Toronto, Ontario area.

Responsibilities

- Arrange financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

- Settle accounts by reconciling entries

- Design Accounts Receivable invoices, analyzing payments received, and record deposits

- Care for accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions

- Preside over an efficient system to track financial transactions and define policies and procedures for bookkeeping

- Oversee and manage general ledger

- Support quality archived records by filing documents
- Previous experience as a Bookkeeper preferred

- Previous experience using accounting software

- Proficiency in account reconciliation

- QuickBooks experience

- Posting Journal Entries experience

- General ledger experience preferred

- Bookkeeping experience preferred

- Adeptness in Microsoft Excel

- BS Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred
