Expected Hours of Work:
Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities:
General Accounting & Financial Reporting
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end financial reports.
Maintain accurate financial records across multiple business units in compliance with GAAP.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit & loss reports.
Reconcile bank statements, intercompany accounts, and multi-site financial records.
Support cash flow management and financial planning across multiple institutions.
Preparation of audit schedules required by auditor.
Multi-Site Accounting & New Site Setup
Support financial operations across multiple institutions, ensuring consistency in accounting practices.
Assist in setting up financial structures for new sites in different jurisdictions, including compliance with local tax regulations.
Ensure proper financial controls and reporting structures are in place at each site.
Preferred experience with both Canada and USA manufacturing.
Leadership and Team Supervision
Assign tasks, review work accuracy, and ensure deadlines are met.
Ensure efficient workflow within the accounting team and resolve any operational issues.
Compliance & Internal Controls
Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company financial policies across all locations.
Assist in the preparation of external annual audit for multi-sites.
Maintain proper documentation for financial transactions and internal controls.
Support regulatory filings and compliance reporting for different jurisdictions.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Support
Processing invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions across multiple locations.
Assist in customer invoicing, collections, and vendor payments for different sites.
Ensure timely processing of payables and receivables, optimizing cash flow management.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
3+ years of accounting experience, including cost management accounting and multi-institutional accounting.
Experience in manufacturing or cost accounting in an industrial setting.
Strong understanding of GAAP, cost accounting principles, and multi-site financial reporting.
Experience in assisting with financial setup, compliance, and reporting for new locations is an asset.
Experience with ERP systems, Epicor Manufacturing preferred.
Ability to analyze financial data and provide cost insights.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in multi-location financial reporting.
Strong problem-solving abilities, adaptability, and teamwork skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate financial data clearly across different business units.
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA designation (or actively working toward CPA).
Knowledge of multi-jurisdictional tax regulations and compliance requirements.
Understanding of inventory accounting, cost allocation, and variance analysis
