We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with established guidelines. Duties

Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes. Perform account reconciliation to ensure accuracy of financial data. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero for daily transactions. Support month-end closing activities and assist with audits as needed. Maintain organized financial records and documentation. Prepare payroll schedules, CRA payroll taxes, WSIB, EHT, and etc.
Experience in calculating GST. HST, Payroll taxes and corporate taxes,

Other clerical, reception work as assigned. Collaborate with senior accountants to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

Work independtly with minimal supervision. 1-2 years of accounting work experience. Completed post-secondary school specializing in Accounting Intermediate excel skills Working towards CPA designation. Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) is a plus. Understanding of financial services and corporate finance principles. Experience or coursework related to accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Multi-tasking skills and able to work under pressure and thigh deadlines.

Pay: $35,768.14-$45,000.00 per year
