The Junior Accountant is an entry-level position. He/she will organize and analyze financial documents and accounts and will research, prepare and complete financial reports. The Junior Accountant will be part of a dynamic and highly skilled Finance team within our Ultra Maritime Canada line of business.

Nationality Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for the role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.



Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the preparation of financial documentation
• Analyze and reconcile various general ledger accounts
• Perform general accounting functions
• Prepare compliance reporting as necessary
• Support the preparation of monthly and annual accounting reports as necessary
• Participate in month end activities as required
• Preparation of reports into payroll provider
• Any other duties as required by the company

Required Skills:

• Degree in Accounting/Commerce, co-op experience is a plus
• Experience of working with Microsoft Excel
• Candidate must be capable of acquiring a NATO Secret security clearance
