The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a junior accountant to add to their small finance team. This role is comprised of AP, AR and bookkeeping. If you have 3+ years of experience in a similar role, submit your resume!
Key Account Responsibilities and Functions
- Data entry and verification of Accounts Payable bills daily;
- Preparation of bank deposits and posting payments as needed;
- Preparation of Accounts Receivable invoices;
- Journal entries;
- Reconciliation and filling of all documents;
- GST and month end entries;
- Manage online banking and bank deposits;
- Assist with payroll timesheet entries
- 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an accounting role;
- Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge
- Excellent analytical skills.
- QuickBooks experience
- High degree of initiative and willingness to change;
- Communicate and follow effectively \xe2\x80\x93 verbal/written and listening;
- Professional, calm, and courteous image and demeanor;
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines;
- High degree of initiative and willingness to change;
- Ability to work in a constantly changing environment and without fail achieve quality standard;
- Detail oriented;
- Strong technical skills;
- Ability to balance conflicting priorities.
