Canterbury is seeking a

Junior Accountant

to support our Finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks, financial reporting, and record keeping. You'll play a key role in ensuring our financial data is accurate, compliant, and organised -- all while building your skills in a collaborative environment.


In this position, you'll process journal entries, assist with monthly reports, reconcile accounts, and respond to internal inquiries with professionalism. Your attention to detail and sense of accountability will help keep our financial processes running smoothly.

You have:

1-2 years of accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience (or relevant education) A diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred) A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with Dynamics AX or Power BI is considered an asset Excellent organisation skills, time management, and the ability to prioritise tasks
