Job Description

Our client, a dynamic and innovative company in the ed-tech industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join their team on a 1-year contract basis in Guelph, Ontario. They are dedicated to delivering exceptional solutions to their clients, and believe in fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.

As a Contract Junior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting project initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, and contributing to the overall success of our projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or an individual with some project management experience looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, execution, and closing of projects within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, providing proactive solutions to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support the development and maintenance of project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, ensuring action items are documented and tracked.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns.

- Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in project management, either through internships or entry-level positions, is an asset.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP certification or enrollment in a project management certification program is a plus.
