Junior Project Manager - Fix Network Restorations (A Division of the Luxuria Group of Companies)

We specialize in disaster restoration services--helping families and businesses recover from events such as fire, flood, storm, and other emergencies. We are currently seeking a Junior Project Manager to join our growing restoration team in Edmonton, AB. This role is ideal for an ambitious, detail-oriented individual who is eager to develop their career in disaster restoration and construction management.

We provide hands-on training, mentorship, and industry-specific courses to support your growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

Support the management of restoration and reconstruction projects, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met under the guidance of senior managers. Act as a point of contact for property owners, insurance representatives, and subcontractors, building confidence in communication while being supported by senior leadership. Assist in coordinating scheduling of trades, procurement of materials, and allocation of resources. Participate in site visits to monitor safety, quality, and project documentation. Learn to prepare and review project estimates and budgets using Xactimate. Provide project updates and assist with clear communication to all stakeholders. Ensure consistent documentation, including site assessments and reporting using Encircle. Gain hands-on exposure to job costing, estimating, and budget tracking. Collaborate with clients, adjusters, and project teams to resolve issues, with mentorship from senior staff. Stay engaged with industry developments and best practices, with opportunities for training and certification.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years of experience in construction, restoration, or related industry (co-op, practicum, or field experience welcome). Familiarity with project coordination or interest in pursuing a career in restoration project management. Post-secondary education in construction management, restoration, or related field is an asset but not required. Willingness to obtain OH&S training and restoration certifications (IICRC WRT, FSRT, etc.--training provided). Valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract (company vehicle may be provided). Ability to participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule after training. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; able to support clients during stressful situations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; interest in learning Xactimate and other restoration platforms. Must have no criminal record and a clear driver's abstract.
