Job Overview:

Support the project execution for APM Wireless Sensors at one or more of production, upgrading, or refining sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the execution of the APM Wireless Sensor scope of work (vibration, pressure and temperature), managing expectations, deliverables, and the completion of project milestones.
  • Implement the project execution plan (PEP) for each site, providing stakeholder management, scope validation, engineering support, procurement support, and construction management in accordance with Asset Development and Execution Model (ADEM) processes.
  • Ensure that sensors are installed in accordance with Technical Standards
  • Mitigate execution risks to ensure timely realization of APM benefits.
  • Support the development of a collaborative team, consisting of the APM Teams, Enterprise Technical Team, engineering consultants, constructors, and Business Units.
Education & Experience:
  • Relevant Engineering degree, EIT, P.Eng. or Equivalent
  • 2 years of energy industry project experience within an operating company or engineering consulting company.
  • 2 years of experience in project management, mechanical engineering, process engineering, or instrumentation and controls engineering.
  • Strong collaboration skills and proven ability to work with internal stakeholders at various levels across the organization
  • Familiarity with oil sand upgrading and refinery facilities.
  • Familiarity of the project life-cycle from idea generation through to execution and benefits realization.
