Southwestern Manufacturing Inc. operates in a competitive global market producing wide ranging metal-based assemblies and components across a variety of industry sectors including but not limited to Mining, Oil & Gas, Crane, and Drag-line Components, Agricultural, Machine building, and Heavy Equipment Manufacturing.

We are looking to fill the position of JR. Processor, reporting to the SR. Processor. This is a full-time entry level position.

Responsibilities

:

Assist Processor. Plasma machine/ burning table programming. Draw in CAD details to be cut. Assist in nesting parts on material. Help with inventory count on material. Ability to read and understand blueprints.

Qualifications

:

An educated background, preferably in the field of:

Mechanical engineering Drafting Manufacturing
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills, in a dead-line driven environment.

Strong working knowledge of the current Microsoft Office suite. Time management and prioritizing skills. Ability to adapt to and learn on a consistent basis. Excellent research skills. Ability to be thorough and pro-active in nature. Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently. High level of logical thinking.
