Operations Manager
to help us strengthen and scale our backend operations.
About the Role
We are seeking an Operations Manager who will play a key role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and contributing to our long-term growth. This is a hybrid position open to individuals with
1-3 years of relevant experience
(operations, supply chain, logistics, or customer service), as well as candidates with
4+ years of experience
who can take on broader responsibilities and strategic oversight.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow with the company, take on more responsibility over time, and work in a performance-driven environment that supports both professional and athletic goals.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience & Fulfillment
Manage customer service emails and online order processing via Shopify
Coordinate timely and accurate fulfillment with warehouses and 3PL partners
For senior-level applicants: Oversee the customer experience function and improve support systems
Inventory & Supply Chain
Monitor inventory across Canadian, US, and UK locations
Place manufacturing and packaging orders; track shipments
Manage import/export documentation and compliance
Regulatory & Quality Assurance
Support the maintenance of Health Canada and CFIA product licenses (training provided)
Help ensure warehouse partners meet GMP and internal quality standards
Contribute to quality documentation and reporting
Supplier & Partner Coordination
Communicate with manufacturers, co-packers, and warehouse teams
Resolve logistics and supply chain issues proactively and professionally
Operational Improvements
Support or lead process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness
For senior-level applicants: Identify opportunities for business improvement and demonstrate impact at the operational or P&L level
Qualifications
We will tailor this role to fit the candidate's experience:
For candidates with 1-3 years experience:
Background in operations, logistics, supply chain, or customer service (CPG or eCommerce is a plus)
Comfortable with Shopify and spreadsheets, or other inventory, accounting, ERP or e-commerce management systems
Eager to learn, take initiative, and grow into a leadership role
For candidates with 4+ years experience:
Experience leading operational or logistics processes in a scaling business
Familiarity with inventory systems, fulfillment operations, and customer service management
Demonstrated ability to improve efficiency or reduce operational costs
Experience with Health Canada, CFIA, or GMP compliance is an asset
