Junior Lawyer - Litigation & Business Law

Segev LLP, a well-established law firm located in downtown Vancouver, is currently seeking an experienced a Lawyer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience, a strong foundation in litigation, and a demonstrated interest or experience in corporate/commercial law. Qualifications:

Active membership in good standing with the Law Society of British Columbia. Minimum 1-2 of experience specializing in commercial litigation and/or corporate/commercial transactions Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and continuous learning A proactive, team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn and grow
Responsibilities:

Assist senior lawyers with a wide range of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, shareholder disputes, and employment matters. Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, correspondence, and other legal documents. Manage smaller litigation files independently, with appropriate supervision. Support and advise clients on corporate/commercial matters, including incorporations, shareholder agreements, commercial contracts, and corporate reorganizations. Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and court proceedings. Collaborate with team members to provide strategic and practical legal solutions. Stay current on relevant legal developments in both litigation and business law.
