Job Title: Junior IT Support Technician

Notably, we\'re looking for an IT Tech to work onsite at our client office in Burnaby part-time for 6-month contract, and our head office in Port Coquitlam, based on operational needs. Provide comprehensive technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in person.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently and effectively.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices.
Collaborate with team members to escalate complex technical issues and ensure timely resolution.
Document and update technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles.
Maintain spare IT inventory list and control assignments
Assist in the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades and rollouts.
Educate end-users on basic troubleshooting and IT best practices.
Stay up to date with the latest technology trends and recommend improvements to enhance system performance. Requirements:
Experience with desktop operating systems, including Windows 10, Windows 11 Pro, Mac OS, and Mac IOS.
Experience in application support experience with MS Office 365 applications, MS Teams, and Sharepoint
Working knowledge of a wide range of audio/visual equipment and the ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment.
Ability to administer Print Services in a Windows environment.
Ability to conceptualize workflows in the Helpdesk IT support tool.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly, business-friendly, and technical language.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Exceptional customer service orientation.
Valid Driver\'s Licence and reliable transportation. Job Type:
Part-time basis (20-25 hrs a week), with the potential for a full-time role in the future. The initial contract is for 6 months, with the possibility of extension, and the opportunity to transition into a full-time position based on performance and business needs.
Compensation:
Hourly salary: $25-$28.
