Currently we are recruiting for an Edmonton, Alberta, based;

Jr \xe2\x80\x93 Int Electrical Design Drafter (Technologist)

We are seeking a motivated self-starter and team contributor to join our team located in Edmonton. The successful candidate shall bring 3-7 years progressive experience, within an EPCM, working on pipeline and petrochemical plants.

Project Overview:

The project aims to update existing Electrical \xe2\x80\x98Typical Detail Drawings\xe2\x80\x99 (TDDs) to ensure they accurately reflect installation details in line with industry standards, regulations, and applicable requirements. The TDDs will cover various categories, including typical electrical equipment, lighting, control box, grounding installation details, schematic and interconnection diagrams, one-line and three-line diagrams, and key interlocks.

Scope of Work

• Updating existing Electrical TDDs to reflect accurate installation details based on industry standards, regulations, and applicable requirements.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to prioritize categories for electrical TDDs such as grounding, lighting, etc.
• Reviewing TDDs for accuracy and duplication: The TDDs will be reviewed to ensure accuracy and to consolidate duplicate information by combining or dropping duplicate drawings or details.
• Coordinating with vendors: Coordination with vendors will be done to ensure correct installation details.
• Mark-up/draft final TDDs will be prepared for approval.
• Collaboration and coordination with SME will be done for periodic reviews and to ensure constituencies.
• Updating drawings per engineering drawing standards, tagging standards, and CAD (Computer Aided Design) standards (DS-001, DS-002 & DS-003).

• A minimum of 3 years of electrical design and/or on-hand field installation experience.
