6 Month Contract (with potential for renewal)

We're looking for a Junior Instructional Designer to join our Training & Development team.

Responsibilities:





This position will include, but not be limited to the following:


Collaborate with SMEs to analyze training needs and define learning objectives. Build training manuals and digital learner resources. Design and develop engaging training materials using ADDIE methodology, storyboards, courses, and job aids. Recommend delivery methods and create resources for classroom, virtual, and LMS-based learning. Manage projects, timelines, and review SME input, and ensure quality across all deliverables. Build and facilitate a train-the-field coach course and support lead trainers during program delivery. Revise content based on feedback and pilot sessions to close learning gaps. Identify risks and dependencies and provide mitigation strategies. Support knowledge transfer and sustainment activities for long-term success.



What you Bring:




Degree or diploma in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Training Development Specialist, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years in curriculum design for diverse formats: e-learning, instructor-led, and blended learning. Strong understanding of adult learning principles and ADDIE framework. Excellent communication skills, able to create clear, concise materials and present confidently. Collaborative mindset with proven ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments.



You also are:




An LMS champion, you dive in and discover all that the system can do. proficient within Articulate 360 - (Storyline and Rise), Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office suite. Comprehensive with tools like WellSaid, 11Labs, Vyond, Snagit, Camtasia, ClipChamp, and if not, agile enough to learn on the fly. Skilled in leveraging and integrating AI technologies to enhance learning experiences and streamline the instructional design workflow. Competent in project management skills and timelines adherence.
